Jasadyat in Arabic is a term that means Body Matters, referring to all matters concerning the body. This includes body knowledge, body rights, gender, sexual and reproductive health, rights and justice.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Jasadyat is an intersectional feminist collective working to build an inclusive feminist movement that tackles the root causes of gender injustice; through feminist mobilisation, knowledge production and cross-border solidarity, we work for a world where all bodies can live in freedom and dignity.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

About Us<\/h2>\n

Jasadyat focuses on both digital and physical feminist activism aimed at the cultural and cognitive empowerment of women, marginalised communities, and youth groups.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Since its inception, Jasadyat has conducted numerous activities and projects aimed at strengthening the feminist movement, raising awareness about sexual and reproductive justice for women and marginalised communities, and highlighting the root causes of gender-based violence, including violence stemming from cultural, religious, or social policies.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Additionally, we work to create accessible and innovative channels for the creation and dissemination of feminist knowledge.<\/p>\n

The Sex Talk Arabic<\/h2>\n

One of the most impactful projects of Jasadyat is The Sex Talk Arabic. This digital initiative aims at challenging and dismantling the deeply-rooted harmful norms, ideologies, and structures that contribute to the continuation of sexual violence towards women and marginalised individuals in Arabic-speaking societies.<\/p>\n

Using popular digital tools, The Arabic Sex Talk initiative provides an intersectional feminist discourse as an alternative approach to discussing sexual health and rights.<\/p>\n

Additionally, the initiative offers training, resources, and educational activities on comprehensive and positive sexual education, created in Arabic and delivered by Arab women.<\/p> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
